Brief description of fishery:
The Ilkley AA owned Members Lagoon is a very scenic and peaceful coarse fishing pond. A mainly fairly shallow (1m-2m deep) old gravel pit, it is primarily a summer fishery and contains some big tench (to 6lb+), good sized bream (to 6lbs), lots of perch (to 2lb+), rudd and other species.
The fishing is often slow and blanks are not unusual. However for those who put the time in the rewards can be great. The peak months for bites and action are July and August.
Private parking, including a few spaces very close to the pond.
