River Aire, Whinny Gill Reservoir and Canal
Exch. Tkt. - Skipton Angling Association

Brief description of fishery:

Via our partner club Skipton Angling Association, Ilkley AA members can apply for free guest day permits to fish one of their many and varied coarse fishing waters.  Most noted is perhaps Whinny Gill Reservoir on the southern side of Skipton.  Their stretches of the River Aire contain lots of grayling plus some pike and chub.  Embsay Reservoir has perch (and trout).  Their long stretch of the Leeds & Liverpool canal runs from Skipton to Gargrave and is most noted for roach, perch and pike.
