Brief description of fishery:
This former gravel pit, situated within the Ben Rhydding Nature Reserve, is mostly fairly deep at 2m to 4m. It contains pike (to an unknown size) along with some big tench, lots of perch and some roach. A sizeable carp was spotted in summer 2022 although we did not know that there were any in there.
It is a weedy water from mid-summer with just a few swims on the roadside bank that remain weed free all year round. It is rarely fished and then mainly by anglers targeting the pike.
There is parking just 200m from the pond.
Address
